The Sandwich Factory was started in 1995 and has become one of the UK’s largest sandwich manufacturers to the foodservice sector with the business based in Atherstone, Warwickshire, employing over 550 people.
We operate out of a purpose built BRC (A) Grade facility with extended high care manufacturing capabilities and offer a wide range of products within a just in time ordering solution. We operate 24/7 every day of the year to ensure that we meet the demands of our customers.
Situated in the heart of the Midlands near all major road networks our facility produces in excess of 1 million products per week consisting of sandwiches, salads, fillings and hot eating solutions to name a few. Our central location allows us to distribute nationally around the UK using our own dedicated chilled vehicles ensuring freshest product and best quality is delivered every time.

The manufacturing of sandwiches and other alternative products is a very labour intensive job and all our staff are therefore trained to undertake a multitude of tasks during their normal working shift to ensure that the manufacturing process runs as smoothly as possible. We continue to invest in leading edge technology which allows us to be one of the lowest cost providers of foodservice solutions within the UK.
We source only the finest ingredients which are freshly prepared each day to provide our customers with the best quality products within the sector. Producing the nation’s favorite products such as BLT, Prawn Mayonnaise and Chicken Salad alongside the more exotic flavours of the Chicken Fajita Wrap, our Goats Cheese & Pear Bloomer or the Falafel & Houmous Naan. |
